Vic Brauwers (born March 14, 1994) is a Belgian pianist, composer, and producer based in Bruges, known for his remarkably versatile musical identity. What began as a childhood fascination with the piano quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. At the age of eight, he began his classical training, which he completed with distinction at the Conservatory of Bruges. There, he refined his technical virtuosity, his sensitivity to sound, and his deep love for the instrument.

But Vic was never destined to be just a classical pianist. From an early age, his musical world expanded through his parents’ rich and eclectic record collection— icons like David Bowie, Depeche Mode, dEUS, Chet Baker, Curtis Mayfield, and Massive Attack laid the foundation. That foundation sparked a personal hunger for new sonic landscapes, which led him, around the age of eighteen, to explore the worlds of drum and bass, and dubstep.

Under the alias Victor Keys, Vic made a name for himself in the electronic music scene. His remixes and reworks of international hits caught attention, and he released a full-length album of his own. A highlight of this period was his striking reinterpretation of Martin Garrix’s global hit Animals, which went viral — nearly one million views on YouTube and thousands of enthusiastic reactions from around the world signaled the arrival of a serious new talent. During this same period, national radio station Studio Brussel featured him multiple times as one of Belgium’s emerging artists to watch.

Following this wave of electronic success, Vic entered a period of introspection. He returned to his artistic core: composing, arranging, producing, and performing music that connects emotionally — music that transcends genre. His love for film scores, soundtracks, and the gaming industry soon became a major artistic pillar. Drawing inspiration from composers and creators such as Hans Zimmer, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Lebo M, Saint Germain, and Quincy Jones, Vic creates music that is immersive and layered — music not just to be heard, but to be felt.

Today, Vic stands on the brink of a bold new international chapter. Guided by his experienced management team at Arttone, he is building a distinctive artistic journey across Belgium, Europe, and beyond.
